Engelsborg was founded in the year 1508 by King Hans.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eneh\u00f8je<\/strong> &#8211; in 1929-1940 Eneh\u00f8je was owned by a polar-explorer and writer named Peter Freuchen.<br \/>\nIn this period of time the island was a place where famous and well known<br \/>\npersons as Storm P. and Johannes V.
